Fortification & Defense: Holding the Line

🔴 Field Operations Briefing

Our mission continues. In January, settler violence and military incursions escalated across the West Bank. Villages in the Nablus region, including Qusra, Burin, and Al-Mughayyir, remain at extreme risk. PALSHIELD has responded with a targeted expansion of defensive infrastructure, surveillance, and medical support to reinforce community resilience.

Our immediate focus is on supplying essential defensive tools and medical equipment, while our long-term efforts center on training local teams, establishing secure supply routes, and fostering independent support networks. By constantly evaluating conditions on the ground, we adapt and refine our approach, maximizing effectiveness and resilience against ongoing threats.

According to reports from The Wall Street Journal and The Guardian, settlers have increasingly organized attacks via encrypted communication channels, leading to widespread destruction. In Qusra, homes were torched, and in Al-Mughayyir, an ambulance responding to an emergency was attacked. Between January 1 and January 22, at least 32 Palestinians were killed by settlers and Israeli military forces, highlighting the urgency of our mission. Reports indicate that these attacks are becoming more systematic, further underscoring the necessity of our work.

⚡ Mission Updates: Securing Communities

🔹 Supply Drops Completed

PALSHIELD completed three critical supply drops:
Fire extinguishers 🔥 (Essential for preventing property destruction from arson attacks)
Individual First Aid Kits (IFAKs) 🩹 (Equipped with essential trauma supplies)
Personal torches & floodlights 🔦 (Providing visibility during night raids and enhancing security)

These supplies, sourced exclusively from Palestinian vendors, ensure that communities remain self-reliant while strengthening local economies.

🔹 Intelligence & Surveillance

  • New motion cameras will be deployed in multiple villages, providing real-time alerts for early response.
  • Collaboration with legal defense teams to document settler attacks and push for international accountability.
  • Strengthening local relationships by connecting with village councils, vendors, cultural centers, and youth organizations to build sustainable networks of support and resistance.
  • Implementing emergency response protocols with local leaders to create a structured approach for handling future escalations, minimizing casualties, and protecting key community resources.

🔹 Stateside Advocacy & Fundraising

In addition to operations on the ground, PALSHIELD has been actively mobilizing support in the U.S.:

  • Successful New York Fundraiser – Raised over $16,000 to fund upcoming supply drops and defense initiatives.
  • Community Outreach & Educational Events – Held discussions and panel events in New York, Chicago, and Cincinnati, providing updates on the situation in Palestine and building stronger alliances.
  • Strategic Partnerships – Engaged with legal advocacy groups, humanitarian organizations, and community leaders to expand support networks and enhance resource mobilization.
  • Media & Awareness Campaigns – PALSHIELD representatives participated in interviews and wrote op-eds detailing the realities on the ground, further amplifying Palestinian voices and resistance strategies.

🚀 Next Phase: What’s Coming in March

We are preparing for increased hostilities as spring approaches. Our next supply drop will focus on:

  • 📡 Expanding surveillance networks with additional motion cameras and UAV monitoring.
  • 🛠️ Providing protective equipment to farmers and volunteers in frontline communities.
  • 🚑 Enhancing medical readiness with advanced trauma kits & mobile response training.
  • 🎓 Training & Preparedness Initiatives to educate local communities on immediate-response strategies and self-defense measures.

💡 Special Focus: We are preparing plans for another fundraising event and panel discussion in Chicago in collaboration with PAL. This event will provide critical updates, strengthen alliances, and further our mission to support Palestinian resilience through direct action and advocacy.
